  • This is Black Gardenia’s debut album that came about during a weekly residency at The Revel Room, in Vancouver’s historic Gastown. This first incarnation of Black Gardenia includes the Lap Steel of Jimmy Roy (Ray Condo and The Ricochets and Big Sandy), and Joanie Kepler (bs), Andrew Smith (gtr) and a London Jazz Meets Americana sound that explores that mysterious area where jazz, folk and old time country meet. With guest features of Stephen Nikleva (gtr), Chris Davis (trp), Guido Heistek (ukulele).

    Think, laid back, elegant, with the occasional dash of Honky Tonk.
