Daphne Roubini is a vocalist, songwriter, and music entrepreneur. Her bands, Black Gardenia and Ruby & Smith, have played jazz and folk festivals throughout Canada. Daphne spends her time singing and writing, running her successful music school Ruby’s Ukes, and most recently doing the publicity and marketing for music talent and festivals.

Daphne is currently working on an album that is set to be recorded in Spring 2024 on the Cellar Music Jazz label. And loving the process of musical explorings and writing new material. She is also creating, “Like a Pearl”, a new podcast on creativity in the arts, business and life.
Originally a Londoner, now living in Vancouver, Daphne loves to spend time in New York City where she is endlessly inspired.
